Introduction

This website came about as I was putting together a database of my Queen collection including pictures of every item I own and thought why not make it into a website where I can show it to my Queen friends and other collectors around the world. Nearly every item I have to do with Queen or Queen related can be found here with a picture attached. I started this website in mid 2004 and it took me a grueling 6 months to put together and as the years have gone on I have added additional features that I would hope my visitors will find not only interesting but also entertaining and helpful to all the great Queen fans out there. The site has been divided into two sections, the first has my collection in which every item has been photographed with info and a price guide. The other section has various pages of personal stuff I have put together including downloads, tributes and general pages of Queen interest that I hope all my visitors appreciate. Enjoy.

You can view the site stats here.

Queen Collecting

I have been collecting Queen for a long time now and I started out picking up vinyl and cd's cheaply and it sort of escaladed into a full blown hobby for me. But all in all its turned out to be an expensive hobby but well worth the satisfaction when you get hold of a vinyl or cd in mint condition. I have included a price guide to some of the items and this is only a guide as a lot of Queen collectors will tell you people will pay anything for an elusive item that they need to complete part of their collection and in all honesty I have paid too over the top for items that I desperatly want. I have also picked up items really cheaply from record fairs, boot sales and of course ebay...a collectors godsend so at the end of the day my purchases all even themselves out price wise, Throughout my site you will find many items that are in mint or excellent condition and a few that are not so good but hopefully I will get to replace these in the future.

My collection has been laid out to make it simple to navigate, and items have been catergorized to make it easier for you to look through my collection. Hope you enjoy looking through what I have collected over the years as much as I have enjoyed putting this all together.

If you have any ideas or suggestions for this website I'd love to hear from you, I will always
be looking to improve this website with new ideas and more features in the future.

A little about me (Q&A)

How did you first get into Queen?
I have been into Queen for a very long time, must of started around 1977, my mum has always liked them so grew up with Queen playing a lot, I started buying the records myself about 1984 and loved that era, I remember watching Live Aid and just watched in awe at Queens performance, was talking about it for ages to everyone I knew. Had the chance to see them live in 1986 but decided not to go due to just meeting Claire, who ended up my wife. (but wasn't to know that this would be my last chance to see Queen, (If I could roll back time). I have also been a serious collector of Queen records and memorabilia for over 15 years, and have amassed a great collection that any Queen fan would be proud of.

What's your Favourite Single?
I thought about this for a long time and usually I would pass on this but I'm going to have to say Bohemian Rhapsody just because it's the best song ever written. Other than that Love of my Life, or I want to break free or you're my best friend or prophets song….blimey this is hard.!!!

What's your Favourite Video?
It would have to be I want to break free, always loved this song and video and was in my element when I got to dress up and perform as Freddie in front of an audience, even studying the moves for hours…lol. Well it just had to be done, felt good but I did look a bit hilarious.

What's your Favourite Album?
News of the World or A Night at the Opera (most listened too)…NOTW as it was the first one I owned, and got played endlessly. ANATO is just class easily best album from the Queen collection.

What's your Favourite live Video?
This without a doubt has to be Live Aid, I remember waiting patiently for Queen to appear and they didn't disappoint with a performance second to none. I still have the video of the performance recorded on the day by my dad. This performance was a turning point for Queen and added thousands of fans from around the world to the Queen family.
Wasn't Freddie AWESOME…

Favourite solo career?
Freddie, some of the solo stuff he did was just class and nobody can touch him even today. Love the box set and those who haven't got it yet I would defiantly recommend you buy it. I'm a big fan of Rogers solo stuff too.

What other music are you into?
I like all tastes of music, if I were to pick a few artistes out it would have to be, The Rolling Stones (my next favourite after Queen, seen these live at Wembley), Elvis, Bon Jovi, Meatloaf, Guns and Roses, Buddy Holly, Jeff Scott Soto, and I also like Neil Diamond, Celine Dion, Elton John…I'll stop there.
